A newly-dug bore on the perimeter of the HMP site at Chibobo supplies the Orphanage with water. The pump is powered by hand. Orphans and local children are seen filling their pots and buckets every morning. Small children manage to lift large, heavy pots and carry them about 100 metres through Chibobo to the cooking area near the Dining Hall. Agatha Chibuye shows her skills balancing a large container on her head. This is the preferred method for carrying heavy loads. Water for the Guest House is tractored in from a larger, more distant bore. It is pumped into two gravity-fed tanks by a small diesel powered pump.
